Our story
A family shop from Málaga, now in the Netherlands too
In Torre de Benagalbón, in the municipality of Rincón de la Victoria on the coast of Málaga, you will find our shop: Ibéricos Añoreta. Since 2017 we have been selling Ibérico ham, sausages, cheese and wine there. You can have ham sliced to take away, or have breakfast at the bar and a few tapas with a glass of wine.
Part of our family lives in Oisterwijk, in North Brabant. That is how the idea came about to offer the products from our shop in the Netherlands too, with the same care as at our own counter.
Why Anjoreta?
Our shop is named after Añoreta, a neighbourhood of Rincón de la Victoria. Dutch has no ñ, but the nj sounds exactly the same. That is how Añoreta became Anjoreta in the Netherlands. Same family, same shop, same ham.
How we work
- We only sell products we also sell in our own shop in Málaga.
- We slice the ham ourselves and vacuum pack it so it stays perfect on the way.
- We are honest about quality: every ham shows its official label colour.
- We keep the range small. We prefer a few products we know inside out.
